Board of Directors


Leland Strange is the Chairman of Lumense’s Board of Directors. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and President of Intelligent Systems Corporation, a publicly traded company [NYSEMKT:INS]. In 1995, Leland was inducted into the Georgia Technology Hall of Fame and in 2005 was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Georgia Tech College of Management. He serves on the board of directors of several privately owned companies. In the past, he has served on the board of publicly traded companies such as Allied Holdings, Inc [NYSE:AHI], Great Plains, Matria Healthcare, Healthdyne Technologies and IQ Software. Leland is past Chairman of the Georgia Tech Research Corp. and is on the advisory board of the Georgia Tech’s College of Management and a trustee of the Georgia Tech Foundation. Prior to being appointed President of Intelligent Systems in 1982, Leland founded Quadram Corporation in 1980. Quadram pioneered the enhancement products industry and was one of the fastest growing electronics companies in the early 1980s. Prior to Quadram, Leland founded a number of successful ventures in several industries. He also served as a marketing professor specializing in entrepreneurial enterprises at Mercer University, as a board member of the Georgia, Atlanta and Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Research Alliance, and EmTech Biotechnology Development, and is past chair of the American Electronics Association Southeast Chapter. He has served as trustee for the Georgia Baptist Health Care Services. Leland received a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. from Georgia State University.



Diana Mather Murphy is Managing Director and Director of GRA Venture Fund, LLC, and is also a Managing Director at Rocksolid Holdings, LLC.  Since 1997, Diana also served as the Managing Director and a Partner in the private equity firm of Chartwell Capital Management Company, Inc.  She was an Associate with Chartwell Capital and served as Interim President for one of Chartwell's portfolio companies, Strategic Media Research Inc., since 1996.  Diana served as the Senior Vice President for The Baltimore Sun Company , a division of The Tribune Corporation from 1992 to 1995. She has been a Director of CTS Corporation since December 1, 2010; Landstar System Inc. since February 1998 and Abeome Corporation since February 2009. She serves as a Director of Raymedica Inc. and Enterworks Inc.  She has been Lead Independent Director of Landstar System Inc. since May 2012.  Diana also serves a Director of The Coastal Bank of Georgia, the Southeast Georgia Boys and Girls Club and other privately held companies. She served as a Director of Landstar System Holdings, Inc. (LSHI), a subsidiary of Landstar System Inc. from February 1998 to July 2004.  She served as a Director of Sandbox, Inc., Landstar Logistics, Inc. and of eMotion Inc.  Diana received her B.S. degree from West Virginia University and her Advanced Executive Business Degree from Northwestern University.
